Chapel of St.Peter the Apostle
It was the see of the Parish of St. Peter since its construction.
It was adorned with frescoes by Palomino up to the cornice, framed by stucco medallions depicting St. Peter. These paintings, considerably damaged in 1936, are covered with tapestry. Remains of the representations of the cardinal virtues are still kept in the pendentives (prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance), work by the priest-painter Vicente Victoria and canon of the collegiate church of Xativa.

The place where was the altarpiece is now presided by a crucifix, modern wood carving without decoration, and by an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus sculptured and adorned by J. Ponsoda (1882-1963)
The six large canvas painted by Nicolás Falcó in early 16th century formed the entrance that protected the renaissance organ of the Cathedral and characterizes the key moments of the Virgin Mary's life in accordance to the mysteries of salvation of Jesus Christ, which are celebrated in the liturgical year: The Annunciation, The Birth of Jesus and The Adoration of the Shepherds, The Epiphany and the Adoration of the Magi, The Resurrection of the Lord, The Assumption of Mary into Heaven and finally Pentecost with the arrival of the Holy Spirit on the apostles gathered with Mary. They are painted with a thin layer of oil on canvas.
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated in this chapel, by which the new Christians join Christ dead and raised again and in this way they become members of the Church
